Everglades Backcountry
Located 4 miles north of the new bridge, at Jew Fish Creek,MM112.5, this place was a real find. Fish for tarpon, snook, snapper, shrimp, and more, off the docks on 70 ft wide Manatee Creek, day and night. You don't need a license to fish cuz they have a peir license. We swam with manatee. We had a tent but they also had RV sites. They even have houseboat and rv units to rent. Small place, clean bathrooms, felt very safe, and the owners go the extra mile to make you feel right at home. We will be back.
