Description of Long Point Rec & Camping Park: This 84.5 acre conservation area is on an island in the Indian River Lagoon in close proximity to the Sebastian Inlet marine ecosystems and the Atlantic Ocean. Fisherman appreciate the campsites positioned along the shoreline of the lagoon as well as the small fishing dock and one lane boat ramp. A habitat to protected wildlife such as otters, bobcats, birds, and manatees, the park is also a roosting site for wood storks. Directions: Off A1A, 1.5 mi. north of Sebastian Inlet; 20 mi. south of Melbourne.
